Real Estate Law

FMG handles all types of real estate law and land use issues. FMG’s attorneys have prosecuted, defended, and tried eminent domain and inverse condemnation cases, breach of lease, and real estate fraud matters. FMG’s real estate law attorneys represent owners, sellers, buyers, developers, brokers, and real estate agents in matters pending in state and federal court. FMG’s attorneys routinely appear before city, county, state, and federal government entities on a variety of issues including alleged breaches of environmental regulations affecting our client’s real property, and alleged breaches of the warranty of habitability and other restrictions on land use.

Many of the real estate law cases FMG handles relating to real estate transactions include allegations of non-disclosure of material defects, breach of sales contracts, and claims for attorney fees. All these areas blend well with our extensive business litigation experience.  FMG handles all aspects of these cases, including mediation, arbitration, trial, and if necessary, appeal. The scope of the matters FMG handles can be as small as a case involving a single family home, or as large as a several hundred unit condominium project, a subdivision, commercial buildings, or other type of real property development.
